Over the past few weeks, some users reported that they are unable to create a hyperlink in Outlook 2003.

Use the Microsoft Fix it tool. …Make Internet Explorer and Outlook your default programs. …Reinstall Chrome or Firefox. …Edit the registry manually. …Reset Internet Explorer settings. …Import the registry key from another computer. …Perform a system restore.January 16, 2014

When I try to open the link, I get an error that the operation was canceled due to restrictions on this computer. But the links work when I use them in Gmail. It looks like the problem is with Outlook. I am reading another Posts and tried some suggestions but nothing solves the problem. Anyone have an idea? I am using IE11 display. I reset my IE and made it my default browser. However, the problem persists. I had this problem before while downloading from Google Chrome, but this time When I made IE my default browser, Google Chrome was disabled and email was working fine. Then I uninstalled Chrome from my computer and the problem persisted. So I reinstalled Google Chrome and made IE my default browser again, but the problem persists.
