This is a must have for Xbox fans. My original technical recipe didn’t take this into account and the article is really needed!
The following guide is a Seamonkey420 technical recipe for creating an Evolution X Dashboard Starter CD / DVD and putting it into Evolution X on Xbox Plenty of Drive.
Hardware / Software Required:
-Evolution X Control Panel, Version 1.8.3285 from Superior
-Mod with BIOS chip (installed)
-Neroburn or possibly Easy CD Creator
-XISO / Isomaker or any Xbox Image Builder
-Flash-FTP
Network Card
The router is probably crossing the network cable
-CD-RW or DVD + -R / RW disc (this depends on your Xbox DVD player. Some of them for your choice.)
After downloading X Evolution Dashboard version 1.8.3285 and / or higher, open the folder where you saved the recorded files. You should have the following files (default.xbe might be named xboxdash.xbe and / or possibly evoxdash.xbe. It will rename them to default.xbe):
– bios folder
Skins folder
-evox.ini
-default.xbe or xboxdash.xbe Rename (again, default.xbe)
-WARNING: you must have at least one evox.ini file and a default.xbe file. (It could have been xboxdahs.xbe when the person is renamed Kicked him.)
Step 2. Edit the evox.ini file so you can establish network / FTP connections with your XBOX
SetupNetwork = Yes
Static IP = No
IP 192 = .168.0.3
Subnet mask is 255.255.255.0
Standard gateway = 192.168.0.1
DNS1 = 0.0.0.0
DNS2 implies 0.0.0.0

Make sure SetupNetwork is YES and make sure you enable FTP (see below).
Optionally can be downloaded in addition to StaticIP. When you do, be sure to create the IP address shown below. You really want this IP address to be redirected to the XBOX directly via FTP later. Save this. Next, you need to create an Xbox image file in that folder and then burn it to the rejected CD-RW.
I’ll get to the most important points about the evox.ini file after using the Control Panel and installing it on the Xbox.
Next, you will need to create an Xbox image file for this folder in order to access the evox.ini, default.xbe, BIOS, and Skin folders. (Xbox uses a different type of file structure than most DVDs.) Then burn the .iso file as a clean, healthy CD-RW. After creating the .iso file, you will probably need to open the com CD Nero Easy Creator and open the entire .iso file. Then put it on a CD-RW or DVD + -R / RW disc. Xbox (most of them haven’t learned CD-R discs. They)
Now you need to connect it to your Xbox in order to access it via FTP. May
In fact, there are two ways to do this:
1. If you have a router, this is usually easy. Just connect it to the main network like a PC.
2. Use the perfect crossover network cable and the proven evox without a router with a static IP ini (unlike your PC). Use the same basic subnet etc. and collect them.
Step 3. Launch XBOX from the Evolution X Dashboard CD-RW that each of us has created
Turn on your Xbox as usual. Once enabled, get a floppy drive and insert the prepared bootable CD-RW CD. Then turn off your Xbox, turn it on and on with the CD-RW. It should be located on the Evolution X dashboard. You can immediately tell if the BIOS is working or not if the Xbox logo below says “Matrix Inside”.
Check if the network is available or not. Head into System Utilities and you and your family will have a new screen. Then transferGo to settings:
I am adding a router to connect to some of my Xbox so you can see DHCP type as type. My network is working fine. With a router, you don’t need to use a fixed IP address.
If you are using a crossover cable and network card to connect to your Xbox, you may need to set up a static IP address.
Network status is shown above. Hope you are definitely connected.
This is important. If not, you will need to edit the evox.ini file that everyone edited and then re-burn the last bootable CD-RW.
Step 4 – Installing Evolution X Dashboard on your hard drive connected via FTP to XBOX
Download your XBOX using the Evolution X control panel built with CD-RW. Let it end. Then open flashfxp and click the “Quick Connect” button. Enter the IP address here, which you can find in your Evolution X control panel settings.
Once you have established a connection, you will see a list of created folders on the right. These have always been different drives for your trusty Xbox.
D: DVD or Blu-ray player. If in Installing the game client, you need to copy this fact folder to the top of your computer and then create xISO from part of the folder. Burn it to a bare DVD and you’ll have a backup of your Xbox game!
E: This is where you will need to register your games and offers if your Xbox hard drive is factory installed. There is only about 5-7 GB of free space on this drive. Do not delete existing folders there. Just update two new folders: Applications and Social Games. Click to view the image. Then, to install games or applications, create a folder in online games or flash applications and then usually copy the files into it.
Q: Literally the largest hard drive if you’ve added a hard drive to your own Xbox Will (I’ll explain later how you can help with that). Here you can reduce the size of your games and programs as described above. Otherwise, you won’t be able to save anything in this folder if you have a factory disk.
The rest of the streets can only be used during the absolute game. Leave them as they are.
Before Deploy anything, you want to make a FULL BACKUP of the C: and E: folders on your XBOX. Save them to your computer. WHEN.
Step 5. Install Evolution X Dashboard on your XBOX (you don’t need to launch the CD-RW after booting)
Reboot the Xbox and the Starter CD you created. Connect to Xbox using FlashFXP above) (described. Go to C: which belongs to your Xbox. Copy the directory where you created the bootable CD (the one die.xbe, evox.ini, Bios skins folder was not paid ) as well as a folder.) In C: Xbox.
Then rename default.xbe to evoxdash.xbe. In this case, your Xbox will download the Evolution X dashboard instead of the one associated with the Microsoft dashboard (xboxdash.xbe is usually found in the c 🙂 folder. Plus, you shouldn’t have that many issues including damage to your Xbox Live dashboard, yours, etc.
This is the beauty of the evox BIOS. It will look for the evoxdash.xbe file first, and then for part of the xboxdash.xbe file if the main evoxdash.xbe file cannot be found. I just tested this for security and it works.
Now uninstall from Xbox and restart it without CD. It must have the same control panelEvolution X as before. Otherwise, owners may need to boot from your Starter CD, then FTP to the Xbox, and rename the main factory xboxdash.xbe (Microsoft, One) to msxboxdash.xbe. Then rename evoxdash.xbe to xboxdash.xbe. Then reboot and everything should work.
Tips / Notes:
-If your whole family is having trouble running CD / DVD, please try different brands and speeds. I have used 4x DVD-RD Memorex with my Xbox version 1.0. I’ve also used Memorex and Ritek DVD + RS.
-If you are using CD-RW or DVD + RW, try FULL REMOVAL and then re-write the Xbox image file.
-Network Problems: Check your PC’s network settings to make sure they are indeed configured correctly. Also, remember to open all FTP ports on the network if you are using a firewall.
-Connection problems: make sure when logging into the xbox with the same username and password as in every evox.ini.
