As hard drives get larger, large manufacturers have had to move the default block size from 512 bytes to 4096 bytes. These newer types of discs are known as “extended format” or 4K discs. NOTE. The instructions above are based on installing OS X on a good hard drive connected to SATA In 0. If you are using any other port you want, you can get the name of the disk device from Disk Utility by selecting fill and clicking Information.
Solution 2. Use SATA> Dedicated USB Adapter

Cons: Need a very valuable Mac or a jailbreak.

Removing Mac OS X from the Hackintosh Trainer’s hard drive without assistance can be very difficult. In most cases, it is sufficient to install Multibeast in UserDSDT or Easybeast. However, the boot0 error can also occur if your Hackintosh hard drive decrypts and writes files in 4096 byte sectors. Most hard drives also read and write files in 512-byte partitions, and the bootloader chimera (a bootloader developed by UserDSDT and Easybeast) cannot be installed normally on a hard drive with 4096 byte sectors. What You May Not Need
You are troubleshooting this critical issue directly from your normal Mac OS X operating system because it requires you to disconnect your primary hard drive and this is not possible.o for OS X. I need:
- Everything in the Mac OS X installer: To unmount the hard drive, you need to run something that actually gives you access to another copy of Mac OS X, such as the Mac OS X installer. This could be an Unibeast USB stick … , A Kakewalk USB drive, a myHack USB pump, a Snow Leopard installation DVD, an xMove partition, or maybe even a cloned copy of that hard drive.
- Standalone Installer for Chimera Boot Loader: In this tutorial, you can write “boot1h”, which can be found in the Chimera installer, to your hard drive. This is the Chimera repair manual. To actually download Chimera requires registration at tonymacx86.com.
- Separate USB stick: You will need an additional USB stick to run 1h file for business.
- unpkg: This application extracts content from company .pkg files. You need to use it to finally access the boot1h file in Chimera.
Make sure Chimera bootloader is already installed on your Hackintosh (Chimera must be enabled in UserDSDT and Easybeast). Obviously this won’t work as expected for now, but we’ll fix it. At this point, you canboot into your Hackintosh iBoot with Unibeast USB push etc.
Procedure
Run and extract the downloaded Chimera file in some extraction windows. Unpkg will create a folder called “Chimera” on the entire desktop.
In the Chimera folder go to usr-> standalone-> i386 and copy boot1h to your USB stick. Pay attention to the advertising name of the USB stick (you will really need it later).
Restart your computer and boot not only from the Unibeast disc, but also from your precious Mac OS X Snow Leopard DVD or xMove partition. Nobody should reinstall OS X.
After launching the Mac OS X installer, open Disk Utility by opening the Utilities menu in the menu bar.
In Disk Utility, in the sidebar, select the hard disk partition where Mac OS X is installed and deselect it.
After that close Disk Utility and be sure to open the Utilities window.
This will display each list of all of your non-trivial hard drives. Find the name of the incredibly complex hard drive that has Mac OS X installed (the one we just unplugged) and write down the ID of my hard drive.claim. You might want to write it down so clients remember it later.
