My 6 week old Canon Pixma MP830 just issued a special error code U071 “More than one ink tank of the following color is installed – black (8). Use only one ink bottle per color, each in a specific color. ” Yes, I only set 10 ink tanks per color, maybe someone knows how to fix this error (permanently). Enough, I’m disappointed with this printer. I had to carry out warranty work related to real estate in just 2 weeks. The warranty center is 3 hours away, but I found out that Canon will pay for the delivery of the printer as a warranty for parts. Now this is an error message. If it works, it’s a great printer, but I shouldn’t have this problem with a press that’s only 6 weeks old!
I read on your network that this is due to a large damage to the ink cartridge chip. Canon will most likely replace the defective ink cartridge properly if it is under warranty.

I bought my MP 830 on 10.06. Almost at the beginning, I had the error “more than one ink tank installed” and the automatic refill cartridge never worked productively either. The only service center is located far from my house. While tech support is willing to service a device for over $ 250, this machine should really perform better if it’s ready to use right out of the box!

Anonymous, .. I went through the MP830 service manual and was able to find all references to error U071. So tell us what else it does, why you fold all the time. Please tell us more.
Don’t settle for a disappointed Canon. Each MP is a very advanced piece of hardware and electronics, and you also have a computer, so your needs know how things can go wrong. I have not found a Canon printer that cannot be repaired. If you do, they will outlive many other printers on the market.
I am getting the exact Pixma dime error message. Sometimes opening and closing the motorcycle will temporarily fix the problem [until the next start].

Help me … I just want to scan with the Canon MP830, but I get the text message “More than one ink tank installed”. Even though I have the original ink installed, I just want to scan it on the market approx. Can I at least take this print-related message with me and therefore continue scanning? How do you do that?

Replace Ink Tank – I had one or more faulty black tanks and since I replaced them with new ones, I have not received the error code anymore.

You can also receive messages with more than one reservoir if you use cartridges without 3rd party tokens and casino tokens are redeemed when tattoo cartridges are replaced / old ones are removed.
I mistakenly put a gray token on a new blue ink bottle, but got the message right away when I closed the lid.

My computer’s printer turns on, turns on the scrapbook paper feed rollers, raises / lowers the white support rollers, lowers and raises the printhead shaft / carriage, then makes a short buzzing sound (7 seconds), and thenis talking about our own mistakes 6A00. The control panel flashes green and yellow LEDs alternately.
The print head is free to move on the shaft and has nowhere to go as it does not move at any time during the power-up process, no matter where it is. combined with a wave.

Canon printers generate error codes for several reasons: Your current printer settings may be incompatible due to the document you are trying to create. A piece of paper may be jammed in the printer’s paper loading slot, or you are using the wrong paper space.
First, collect the cartridges and unplug the printer for at least 30 seconds. Then reconnect the printer, turn it on, reinsert the ink cartridges, and wait until the error rate appears. Now look for this stop button on your printer.
To solve this problem, press and hold the RESUME, STOP / RESET, or COLOR START switch on your computer printer for 5-15 seconds. The ink monitor turns off, the printer stops blinking, and the entire printer continues to print.
