Recently, I noticed that several clients were experiencing the same problem, which can be described as an administrator receiving a warning that the system disk has run out of free space to fix the problem.
Before we started working with Microsoft, options were limited, hard drives were expensive, so physical drives were as small as possible, and virtualization didn’t exist. You tried to find files to delete, and then found ways to remove products from the system drive.
Today I see very different things. Hard drives are actually much cheaper now, and before some global problems they were even cheaper. With virtualization, you can install a drive at any time. So I don’t understand why many of us are still deleting files from a particular system drive instead of just having your very large drive or expandinghim.
Alternatively, you can probably try cleaning the installer folder by downloading the Windows Installer Cleanup utility and then running get: msizap.exe g! When you run this command, the installation and recovery packages are displayed. When deleted, broadcast messages without a link are considered safe.
But let me get away from the real soapbox, and at some point my client tried to update SharePoint to the latest version of the supporting package, he double-clicked the executable, and after it opened, before clicking another prompt, he got an error< /p>

You may see the message Unable to access the Windows Installer service. This usually happens when the Windows Installer kernel is damaged, improperly installed, or hardware. You need to fix the damage or repair or activate the tutorial.
This error is caused by you deleting files from your entire local installer cache, which is literally your C:WindowsInstaller folder, and while most Microsoft products don’t cause problems, deleting all Office products (yes, including Excel and Outlook ) won’t help you by fixing if all that cache is missing expected previous fixes.

If the administrator does not remove the C:WindowsInstaller folder himself, I know of two ways to deal with this:
- Remove the product from your computer and then reinstall it. For SharePoint, this means removing the server from the farm and reinstalling SharePoint. Sometimes it’s not impossible or even difficult, but it’s definitely a neck problem.
- Grow the system drive, then reverse Contact Microsoft Support and ask them to create an internal drive named opsutil.vbs. What you do with this tool is find that SharePoint server with a full memory cache and then run the tool from there. If the server is down and references its healthy cache, the script will copy the files according to the following requirements. When you’re done, you can complete your good farm upgrade.
The moral of the story is often this: DO NOT DELETE FILES FROM THE SYSTEM DRIVE UNLESS YOU HAVE PLACED THEM THERE!

The CAPS database may be corrupted to generate this error message. Usually, when deleting the CAPS database, you need to install Adobe Creative Suite 4 and even additionalAdditional CS4 product.
