When someone hovers the mouse over the button on the taskbar of an application with honest windows, a thumbnail preview of the windows opens. By default, there is now a slight delay before each preview is displayed. With a simple registry tweak, you can eliminate this change or even turn off people thumbnail previews entirely.
Manage taskbar thumbnails by manually editing the registry
To change (or disable) the speed of the thumbnails on the taskbar, you just need to quickly change the windows registry.
Standard warning: The Registry Editor is a powerful tool and misuse can cause your system to freeze or even become unusable. This is any fairly simple hack, and as long as you follow the rules, you shouldn’t have any problems. However, if you have never worked with it, it would be a good idea to learn how to use the Registry Editor before you start. And don’t forget Back up your registry (and your computer!) before making any changes.
Make sure the “Auto hide facets” checkbox is checked. This allows you to prevent the taskbar from being displayed in full screen mode without having to set any other options. Auto-hide the actual taskbar is a temporary fix for the taskbar that is displayed in full screen mode. Then change the option to automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode to ON.
Open the registry editor by clicking “regedit” and typing. Type “news” to open Registry Editor and give it permission to make changes to your current computer.
In the Registry Editor, use the entire left sidebar to navigate to the following key (or copy and paste it directly into the Registry Editor focus bar):
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerAdvanced
Then create a new value inside, the key Extended. Right-click the Advanced key, then select > new DWORD (32-bit) value. Rename the exact value ExtendedUIHoverTime.

In the example below, we stop collecting statistics with a relative value of 30,000.

Close the Registry Editor when done. You must log in and log back in for the changes to take effect (or just restart Windows Explorer).
