This guide typically covers the boot (or boot) disks required for the following versions of Windows: Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, or 10.
What Counts As A Boot Disk
A bootable CD (or boot floppy) is a processing medium (CD, DVD, or floppy disk for older versions of Windows) that we can use to boot Windows if it is damaged or corrupted in some way.< /p>
The term “boot drive” was used primarily in connection with Windows XP (and earlier)and versions) and, in some cases, with Windows Vista. For some Windows, Windows 8 and Windows 10, the main term “boot drive” has been largely replaced, including the term “recovery drive” (sometimes called “recovery drive”, may be “recovery drive”).
NeoSmart Technologies offers comprehensive multimedia therapy creation guides for all major PC manufacturers that have their own therapy software and recovery disc for all versions of Windows (XP, Vista, some , 8, 10).
If you have one computer with one of the following shortcuts, please read this guide as well. Most PC manufacturers with computers running Windows also have a recovery partition that can be used to restore or repair a laptop. Some older models only had a different recovery disc (such as a DVD-CD, etc.) or only a recovery partition.
Our list of recovery media guides is in order for specific PC manufacturers: Dell (including all recovery partition guides)Zia), Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Gateway, HP, Lenovo.
The boot disk is not an installation disk! You cannot use a boot floppy to install Windows. Use your custom Windows installation disc to install Windows.
