We are trying to insert a merged PDF into a matching Word 2016 document to send to a client. word
In we will insert> object> Adobe Acrobat insurance> OK> browser, you can open the file and we can visit the icon onpage. The problem is that when you click on the icon, not much happens. Adobe Reader opened, not working, no error messages, nothing.
It didn’t work a few days ago, nor today. I tried the same documentation on different PCs and got the same results. If you’re viewing a PDF outside of Word but trying to open it normally, it works fine.
Not 100% sure – I think, for example, if you use Adobe Acrobat to create a PDF and then embed the game – if the user only has Acrobat Reader (not full Acrobat), they definitely can’t be open-minded.
Test by running the “save as PDF” command with each Word document, then paste it and even see how it works.
Of course, “attach” rather than “integrate” shouldn’t be a problem either.

If a PDF document has been inserted into MS WORD with Adobe as the object type, it certainly cannot be opened with Foxit.
