It looks like your config.sys is looking for a lot of floppy driver CDs when booting from the floppy is nearly impossible …
Once you have the file … copy it also to the root directory of each of our hard drives
Modify the config.sys line so that it reads …

Due to the fact that AMD processors are running at over 350 MHz, there is an issue where you had to lower their clock speed and apply a patch long before restarting them …
Are you using 1 AMD K6?
Only 350+ good thought …
Just a suggestion …
Slow down to 300, tune everything, then set it back …
You are correct, this is usually problem 95 and therefore not aboutproblem 98, but due to the precise installation of the new 95/98 update, it may cause a system error.

It looks like config.sys is looking for the CD on the Racers floppy if you boot from the hard drive …
If you have someone else’s file … Copy it to the root directory of your hard drive
Edit config.sys line 2 to read …
If a person does not have the information or the ability to improve the .sys configuration, then …
Here is a file of what you can use to change your launch …
It includes generic CD drivers
Unzip it to floppy disk and copy to root, including the computer that is not working.
Replace all existing info files … and restart
As I said, I did it with a zipped file, placing it in my home directory (C). I made sure they go there and also made sure that the second line of the config.sys file usually says the files are in i-root. our. DEVICE = C: VIDE-CDD.SYS.
Then I restarted (no error this time) and when the program had to update the system files, this situation was partially overcome, and after closing the window open page, not to mention returning to DOS with a specific message: Windows protection error – press any restart programs .
So it might seem like something else is starting. At the moment, I am reinstalling the whole WIN98SE, but not checking for success.

When you have a file … it is usually very difficult to copy it to the root of the disk

Here’s a good example of what to use for your startup …
It includes popular CD-ROM drivers
Unpack it to a good floppy disk and copy it to the root directory of the PC that is not working.
Replace all existing files … and restart
There was an issue with AMD processors running at over 350MHz to really lower their clock speed and apply a substantial fix before resynchronizing them …
You are absolutely correct about these updates. This to me is what the AMD update will understand when applied to WIN95. I will reinstall WIN95 and then upgrade to WIN98SE.
WIN98SE only allows us to do this with a full WIN95 installation, if you make sure you have your own installation CD with the original WIN95 CD. However, I have a feeling that something overlooked is likely to do it this way as I won’t be able to follow the AMD patch as it will only be recognized by WIN95.
Yes, a great phone on a center amplifier. I roll the dice K6-2 / 500. The important chip is 2.2V – 3.3 I / O – 1998. This is just my backup device which seems to barely support these days, eh!
Thanks a lot for your help and suggestions. You are here on the forum / forum a big plus.
Samplelemma with processors and processors with a frequency of more than 350 MHz, because of which you had to turn them off, and also apply the patch before restarting these beasts …
Are you using AMD K6 350+?
I just thought about …
This will be gradually scaled down to 300 installations, then it will reappear …
You are correct that this is problem 95 and not 98, but because of the way you install the game as a 95/98 update, it might cause a computer error.
By setting it to 98 and working ahead of time, you get it up to 500 MHz.
Your proposal was very successful. I did it with sync, you can stop 300Mhz as you suggested, although there was no error shortly after.
I just wish I had remembered this a few days earlier, as it would have saved our family a lot of mental anguish, and even if I could get AMD’s patch and put it on their floppy, it didn’t often run in Safe Mode.
Good suggestion …
Reduce speed to 300, set all sorts of things, then Restart …
Often you are correct that this is not a 95/98 issue, but given the way the 95/98 update was installed, it is likely to cause a bug in the community.
By turning it off, and the 98 is now in place and working when turned off at 500 MHz, you can get a complete replacement 98 that does not throw an error …
And thanks,
Too nice to be appreciated …
Not bad for a fart over 50, right?
Glad to hear it worked and your backup system is making a living again …
I boot from a Universal Serial Bus ROM CD. I have a gho * .Image that often needs to be streamed directly to the hard drive. I am using the files required to boot from a USB CD. I can boot into my system, but the problem is I cannot boot as the target system (AMD processor). This shows that the Config.sys file and thus the Command.com file are missing or corrupted, which works fine on my system (DELL).
What is the problem of communication On with the AMD brand ??? The above solutions are for AMD processor.

thanks personal answer. But the problem is paperwork, everything I use for shoes and boots from USB works fine again on my system. I can use these files with sneakers. My situation is such that I cannot boot AMD from the processor. The error “Missing or damaged in company file 2 Config.sys” is displayed.
Thanks for your reply. But the problem is, the files I use to boot from USB are fine for my approach. I can boot through these files. My problem is that I cannot update AMD from the processor. It reports the error as “Missing or unsafe on line 2 of the Config.sys file.”
