If you’re getting an error when adding a shared calendar to Outlook 2011, this guide should help you.

On the File menu, point to Open, and then select Other User’s Folder.In the Open Another User’s Folder dialog box, enter the name of the user who tells you the date in the name picker. In the Folder type box, select the type of calendar you want to share, and then click OK.
From the File menu, choose Open Single Mouse Pointer, and then choose Another User File.In the “Open Other Users’ Folders” dialog box, in the “Name” field, enter the name of the user who usually shares the calendar with you. In the Folder Type field, select Shared Appointment Settings, and then click OK.
