The obvious Aero Glass optics in Windows 7 and Vista may look great, but they can also slow down computers that don’t need powerful video adapters. If the Aero Glass offering affects your entire computer, you can speed up Windows by enjoying Aero materials like Flip 3D and taskbar thumbnails. The transparency of the glass can be turned off further.
This article shows you how to do this on Windows 7 and Vista only. The procedure is a little unusual for each system.
Windows 7
If the Windows Explorer window displays the Aero the Glass transparency effect in Windows 7. Note that you can see the Windows logo on the desktop over the edge of the window.
On an iOS or iPadOS device, go to Settings> Bluetooth. In the list of devices, click that dedicated information button next to your AirPods. Tap Noise Reduction, Transparency, or Off.

Click “OK” to close the window and color screen.
