A memory leak occurs when there is a piece of memory that was mostly previously allocated by the programmer. Then it is not released properly through the programmer. This memory is not additional time used by the program. Memory shutdown could be wasted due to memory leak.
To remove all variables from the filled workspace, use clear or clearvars. To clear all global variables, try clear global or clearvars –global. To remove a specific class, use clear myClass. Obviously, to remove a very specific function or script, use functionName.
