The NTVDM or NT Virtual DOS Machine is a system that was introduced in 1993 for all IA-32 editions of Windows NT Relation (not included in the 64-bit versions usually associated with the operating system). The 32-bit Windows NT user-mode executable that forms the real foundation of the Unified DOS (or Windows 3.x) environment is called ntvdm.exe.

EXE has stopped working “and keeps popping up. To fix this download, run a diagnostic scan with System Phase Checker Freeze (SFC) on your computer. Also make sure you have all of these latest updates installed on your computer. Visit Check Support Records on your computer manufacturer’s website to check for updates.

I keep getting this error message “NTVDM.exe has stopped working” due to the cartoon line (something like the C: / ~ command space (Edit: the whole command line “C: PROGRA ~ 1 svchost is.exe) is blinking (then disappears) and so the only thing I am allowed to see is the daily programs “svchost.exe” and sometimes the results several times in a few minutes …. Thanks in advance.

I found another specific situation that throws an error every time a new tab (or a completely new instance) of Internet Explorer is opened. However, this may not be the only time. Maybe something is wrong.

In response to your option, I ask, I don’t think I definitely have software earlier than the Microsoft 2007 series, and the repaired software on my PC might be released in 2007 … Itemprop = “replyToUrl”># 4

ntvdm.exe has stopped working windows vista

Most of the links I have found are for this type of problem and seem to be game related. What games have you installed? Another problem seems to be related to DOS / Windows games. Most of the errors that need to be handled relate to the autoexec.bat, autoexec.nt, and config.nt files.

Here is an article that is specific to Windows NT, but most of the steps will definitely not work in Vista: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q220155/

I also checked the article and didlolled all the tasks. I didn’t know how this would “replace” the files because, on the other hand, it was said that the first file I looked at in a text editor (NTIO.sys) meant the following …
