I keep getting this error message “NTVDM.exe has stopped working” due to the cartoon line (something like the C: / ~ command space (Edit: the whole command line “C: PROGRA ~ 1 svchost is.exe) is blinking (then disappears) and so the only thing I am allowed to see is the daily programs “svchost.exe” and sometimes the results several times in a few minutes …. I only see the following errors:

Note: they happen at intervals of 4-5 seconds, but this can take up to several minutes … They NEVER happen at the same time.
I found another specific situation that throws an error every time a new tab (or a completely new instance) of Internet Explorer is opened. However, this may not be the only time. Maybe something is wrong.

Most of the links I have found are for this type of problem and seem to be game related. What games have you installed? Another problem seems to be related to DOS / Windows games. Most of the errors that need to be handled relate to the autoexec.bat, autoexec.nt, and config.nt files.

If you find them, open a text editor with the whole group and copy / paste the other content in your next answer. From here we can find some guidelines that are causing your problem.

Hmm … I didn’t find any of the listed files on the system … I checked all local drives. To answer your question … I have Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, World of Warcrat and Football Manager 2008.
