    M mode is different (including computer resolutions and file type)

    So, you’ve removed the files most commonly associated with the permissions of all files found in them from the default settings. I would advise against doing this. Maybe yum can reinstall the installation or the RPM –setperms setup && rpm –setugids setup can restore them to what people should be.

    Thanks for permission to this answer. You are right, there were quite a few of them. Tried
    I rpm –setperm ….. the now rpm option -V does not validate anything other than configuration
    but there is a problem

    • Authorization rpc-statd.service failed to load from faulty NFS layer monitor for NFSv2 / 3 lock.
