I think I have the opposite problem. I have a source that I want to charge 24/7 when the computer is just turned on, whether someone is plugged in or not. I have a subscription for 4 logins on the Windows XP home screen.
Is there a way to run / stream individual WinAmp / SHOUTcast even if no one is logged in normally? If so, how can I implement this advice?
If the answer is no, my alternative would be an automaton It starts WinAmp when someone logs in to build Windows. As long as at least one entry is active, it’s okay.
I actually entered a registry key under HKLM> SOFTWARE> Microsoft> Windows> Current Version> Start to start whenever Winamp Windows is running. It works well. I also configured WinAmp to bring it down to the taskbar instead of the taskbar.
Now I created winamp.exe (or winampa.Have exe) all the options / switches I can set:
1) Don’t let them “appear”, i.e. Expand on Windows Startup OR
2) In any case, WinAmp is automatically minimized if the launcher is from the registry.
There can probably be more than one of them – do you think in the current directory as sc_serv you should be able to execute sc_serv.pid (?) To force others to opt out as well.

Using WinAmp visualizations as a Windows background desktop. This won’t work on all computers because some don’t have good enough graphics cards. It should work with any version of Windows after Windows 2000, lower than Windows Millennium Edition (Win Me). The video download is also listed here.
Open WinAmp.
Click on “View” and then “Renders” and when it opens, right click and select “AVS Editor” then “Settings”.
Now select Show, check the Blending Mode and Customize Desktop Color Reference.
Move the entire Windowed Performance slider to increase the frame rate (left).
Check the Doubling Pixels [Half Resolution] checkbox – don’t check your latest graphics card is the worst suited for Land and you will get, I would say, a no-nonsense full view, even if You just needed one that’s good enough, go early and watch it and the video is really better and faster.
Now go back to all Settings and select Full Screen.

Check your “Movie Clip Full Screen:” to make sure it matches the action you are performing based on your monitor resolution, which may help you. This may be less than what your whole family has hired, but still NOT higher.

Go back to spaces and select “Presets / Keyboard Shortcuts”

Set it to 4 seconds for me, even if you prefer yours to be more efficient or slower. There is a link at the top that allows you to select certain presets.vki. I leave my arrangement in space and she mixes them up very well.
