You may encounter an error code indicating Silverkeeper error codes. As it turns out, there are several different ways to solve this problem, so we’ll cover them a bit.

It worked to some extent, but I ran into a couple of questions that I would like to dispel by my own curiosity.
a) On selecting our original volume (I selected the hard drive icon on the desktop
), I generated a warning that “Ignore permissions” was on this drive

when I have Get Info somewhere on this disk or for some reason

I’m having problems with the version that came out with my disk when I upgraded
to OS X 10.4. This may not be directly related to the fact that your friend is using the OS.

I am using Silverkeeper 1.1.2 and iBook with OS 9.2.2 to back up my 10G HD to Lacie 20G Drive Money. They are both separate, even though the surfaces do not match.
