    Press F8 Before Loading Each Windows XP Screen

    Simply open the Windows XP Splash LCD Monitor shown above. Press F8 to display the Advanced Windows Options menu.

    Select An Important Windows XP Safe Mode Option

    You should now see the Windows advanced options menu screen. If not, families may have missed a brief opportunity to press F8 due to step 1, and Windows will probably start normally as soon as it can. If this is almost certainly the case, just run your custom step again and repeat step 1.

    Here you are presented with three options for Safe-You mode, you can enter:

  • Safe mode. This option is the default and is usually the best choice. This mode loads only the absolute minimum processes required to start Windows.
  • Safe Mode with Networking. In this way, the same processes are loaded as in safe mode, but also those that allow network functions while Windows is running. This is useful when you need to access the Internet.either local network during troubleshooting.
  • Safe mode with command line. This safe mode option also loads minimal functionality, but allows access in the form of the Command Line parameter.   • Use the arrow on your keyboard to highlight Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking and press Enter.

    Select The Operating System To Boot

    Windows needs to know which working installation system you want to boot. Most users only have a separate installation of Windows XP, so their choice is usually obvious. your

    Make Any Necessary Changes To The Security m Mode
