How to set up an email account in Microsoft Outlook Express
- In Microsoft Outlook Express, choose Accounts from the menu.
- Go to the Mail tab. and select “Mail” from the “Add” menu.
- Enter your full name in the Display Full Name field and click Next.
- Enter your email address in the Email Address field and click Next.
- On the Mailing Names pagervers “specify the following data:
- My specific mail server is
- POP3 or IMAP.
- IMAP server (pop3 or HTTP) for incoming mail
- POP pop.secureserver.net. possibly IMAP imap.secureserver.net.
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP)
- smtpout.secureserver.net.
- In the Account Name and Password fields, enter your email address and password, and then click Next.
- On the Thank You Installation page, click Finish.
- On the Mail tab, select justthe created person account and click Properties.
- Go to the Server tab.
- Select “My server requires authentication” and click “Apply”.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Under Server Port, change the outgoing contact email (SMTP) to 75 and click OK.
- (Optional) If you want to save a message with email addresses stored on all of your mail provider’s servers, I would go to the Shipping section.Select Leave a copy of messages on the server.

NOTE. smtpout.secureserver.net is a good SMTP relay server. To use this server again to send email, you must first activate SMTP exchange in your email account. Log in to your Account Management email blog to set up SMTP relay. If not everyone has configured SMTP forwarding and your Internet Service Provider (ISP) allows it, you have the option to use an outgoing mail server to contact your Internet Service Provider.
