This guide was created to help you if you receive Ubunto Network Reinstallation 9.10 error code.
This answer assumes that the owners are prematurely nlost access to the Internet, network manager, or other packages.
Live CD / DVD / USB
Create a permanent bootable CD / DVD with an Ubuntu or USB connection, boot from it and select Try Ubuntu Without Installing. Once you are on your Ubuntu desktop, open a specific terminal.
Root Section
You need to find the root partition in your Ubuntu installation. In a standard suspended Ubuntu, the root partition is / dev / sda1. To find out the root of our section, run the following command:
sudo fdisk -l
A list of connected hard drives and partitions will open. You also need to know which one is the root of the section. In step 3 below, ROOT-PARTITION is the root partition you just found, in my case for example / dev / sda2.
Chroot To Root Section
To make sure that a particular section is the primary one, you can mount it. To do this, mount the root partition to / sys, / proc, / run, and therefore / dev and type chroot:

If you get an error stating that resolv.conf is the same as the site, just ignore it when copying. Copying resolv.Gets conf network works, I have at least (with DHCP).
Update / Install Packages
Now anyone can update the system – in a terminal of the same type:
update apt-getapt-get upgradeapt-get use network manager network manager-gnome
Install NetworkManager: sudo apt-get install network-manager-gnome network-manager.Then remove WICD: sudo apt-get remove wicd wicd-gtk.Reboot your system.Make sure everything works, then extract the WICD config files: sudo dpkg –free wicd wicd-gtk.
If you have any dilemmas in the last step, make sure that several of your sources in /etc/apt/sources.list are correct – of the same type:
Sudo-Station, Nano /etc/apt/sources.list
Since you have customized the installation on your personal Ubuntu, any changes you make will affect it and not the Live CD if all settings are done in the same machine session.

Right-click the NetworkManager symbol in the function bar and activate Enable Networking. All network cards are reactivated. If successful, the system will connect to the local network and additionally receive an IP address, which is set by the NetworkManager applet. Your problems should be resolved.

I’ve been guided by compiling a lot of drivers when installing VMWARE tools on autopilot, but I suspect this method has problems with your current version of the network driver. Any suggestions for what to try next? I’m a bit green on Linux, so feel free to add some obvious options instead of giving me a full suggestion on how to recompile people on the net (I wouldn’t have the first clue on how to do this).
