It looks like it’s not just the VIA driver. SP2 xp introduced minimal incompatibilities that rarely occur, but the VIA IDE driver exacerbated some of the problems and brought with it the “BAD_POOL_HEADER” BSOD. While this thread reports that burning sensation support fixes the issue, removing gen_ml.dll from the plugins Winamp folder (making the media library null) fixes the issue in the forums. Can my staff confirm that the removal of gen_ml.dll was successful.

Other issues that have reduced it: Hard drive LED is constantly on, endless reboot loop, endless XP boot time, black screen after preventing XP from booting, desktop image but no functionality, and good more.
