If you have Windows XP Virtual Box on Windows 7 on your system, this user manual can help you.
A few weeks ago, we showed your company how to run XP Mode on a Windows 7 machine without hardware virtualization using VMware. NeckSome of those who do business with you have wondered if this task can also be done in Box. The answer is simple: “Yes!” And here we will show you the way.
Editor update: obviously there is no way to enable XP mode with this method via VirtualBox. You will be able to walk for about 30 days. We have an updated beginner’s article on how to install XP Mode with VirtualBox using this VMLite plugin.
Earlier, we showed you how to fully run XP Mode on Windows 7 computers without the PC hardware virtualization feature. Since then, many have asked you to write a suitable tutorial, just like when using VirtualBox. Here we see how you are currently importing Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise or Ultimate XP Mode into VirtualBox methods with which you can run XP for free.
Note. You need Windows 7 Professional or later if you want to use XP Mode with this behavior. In our testing, we made sure that we can get it on Home Premium too, violating the Windows 7 license agreements that were entered into.
First download and install XP mode (link below). To youno need to boot Virtual PC if your current computer cannot. So just start XP mode from my link on the left.
Now install VirtualBox 3.1.2 or higher (link below). Install as usual and just follow the standard instructions.
VirtualBox can notify someone that your network connection will be dropped during installation. Click Yes to continue.
During installation, you will see several pop-ups asking if you want to install the device owners for USB and network interfaces. Just click Install as VirtualBox expects it to work properly.
Installation mostly took a few minutes, no reboot required.
First, we need to copy the xp in standard mode so that VirtualBox does not affect the boot copy. Go to C: Program Files Windows XP Mode and copy the “Windows XP Mode base.vhd” folder. … Just paste it into another folder of your choice, your type as a folder with documents.

Now click in VirtualBox on New Result on the new virtual machine.
Enter the ID of your virtual machine and make sure the operating system selected can be Windows XP.
Select the amount of memory that users want to allow for using the virtual machine. By default, VirtualBox accepts a value of 192 RAM, MB, but for more efficiency, you can choose 256 or even 512 MB.
Now select the hard drive for any virtual machine. Select Use Existing Extreme Hard Drive, then click the folder buttons to select the digital drive in XP mode.
Click Add in this window, then of course find the XP Mode photocopy you made earlier
Make sure the correct virtual disk is selected, then click Select.
VirtualBox can work with many versions of Windows. It supports 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8, as well as 32-bit versions of most Windows XP. It also runs on Windows server platforms, including the 32-bit model of Windows Server 2003, both 24-bit and 64-bit Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2012.
Once selected, I would say the VHD screen should look like this, then click Next.
Make sure these settings are correct. No, if you can go back, make changes. If everything appears correctly, click Finish.

If you have not previously cleared the Read-only checkbox in the properties of the virtual hard disk, you may see the following error. If you see one, check the file again to make sure it is not write protected.
If you then click inside the virtual machine, it can revert to the default mouse settings. Just press the right Ctrl key to release the mouse and you can start using Windows 7. I would say that this will only be the case for the installation process; Once I’d say the Guest Additions are installed, the gaming mouse can easily switch between operating systems.
Enter a name for your XP, confidential and administrative password.
Check the day of the week, time, time and zone settings and make additional changes if they are incorrect. The time and date were generally correct, but the time zone needs to be constantly adjusted.
XP is currently automatically completing the setupoyku multimedia computer and then just reboots.
You may be prompted to pay for drivers; Just click Cancel because all the drivers we need will probably be installed later along with the Guest Additions.
Your final settings are complete, give it a try and you will finally see your personal XP desktop in VirtualBox.
Please note that XP Mode should not remain enabled after being imported into VirtualBox.

When you hover your mouse over the Start button in your company’s Windows 7, you will see a new option called Windows XP Mode.
In transparent mode, you have the XP Start menu and taskbar at the top of the Windows 7 boot window in addition to the taskbar.
