I’ve tried both methods. The disk does not appear under Disk Management, so I cannot reinstall the driver. The physical connections for the reader are correct. Can I try something else? I can just grab the computer to look at it because it is always below me A guarantee, but I prefer to try and fix it myself if possible.

Thank you!

Hello Lady Tana

What is your brand and model?

Is the hard drive displayed in the BIOS?

You may need to refer to the documentation that came with your computer for instructions on how to check it.

Enter “Good and Cool Greg” in the forum search box. Correcting it at some point from the wire side will knock you out. It worked for me. Be careful when editing the registry if you haven’t already, if you don’t follow closely to fix it. A disaster could happen!

Good luck.
