Easily Troubleshoot Text Not Found In An Unknown Message

You should read these troubleshooting tips if you receive text from an unknown message with no error found.

The “Unknown address 4504: message not found” option is usually caused by enabling the “Block unknown senders” option in the default mail application, an internal data leak within the device, or some internal conflicts that are because the device can no longer receive SMS correctly.

I keep getting texts from an” unknown “message that doesn’t” read ” Have not found. “

This problem can be caused by several reasons. One of the most common problems is poor or intermittent coverage. If you are in an area with a band between 0 and 1, receiving your messages may be delayed. There may also be a sync issue with iMessage and / or Facetime. To fix this problem, you want to turn both features off and on again.

  • For iMessage:
    • Open Preferences
    • Click Messages.
    • Set the iMessage switch to Off. This will disable iMessage on your iPhone.
  • For FaceTime:
    • Open Preferences
    • Select FaceTime.
    • Set the Facet radio buttonime to the off position. This means your phone number is not in FaceTime
  • Turn your iPhone off and on again. After restarting your device, turn on iMessage and Facetime again.

If that doesn’t work, you can reset your network settings. This will not delete images or software, but will simply reset your network settings to their defaults. You will need to reconnect your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections.
