On newer versions of Windows, just click Start and start typing Services. msc. Then scroll down to Windows Installer and double click on it. Set the Startup Type to Manual, click Apply, and then click Start to start the service.

Press Windows Key R, type msiexec / unreg and press Enter.

Press the key againVichy Windows R, type msiexec / regserver and press Enter.

Press Windows R again, type regsvr32.exe / s% windir% system32 msi.dll and press Enter.

Press Windows R again, type the following and press Enter:

sc create msiserver start = auto binpath = “c: Windows System32 msiexec.exe / V” displayname = “Windows Installer”

Press Windows R keys again, type the following and press Enter: Net start msiserver
