In the left pane of Registry Editor, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control Print Environments Windows NT x86.

Examine the subsections under the Windows NT x86 key in the left pane. If you see subsections other than Drivers and Print Processors, right-click the Windows NT x86 partition, select Export, and then save the contents of the partition to a file. Then remove the other subkeys by right-clicking them and clicking “Remove” on each one.

In the left pane of Registry Editor, navigate to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control Print Monitors”.

Explore the subsections under the bookthe “Monitors” button on the left panel. If you see any subsections other than BJ Language Monitor, Local Port, PJL Language Monitor, Standard TCP / IP Port and USB Monitor buttons, right-click the Monitors button, select Export and save the contents of the key file. Then remove the other subkeys by right-clicking them and choosing “Remove” on each one.

Disconnect the printer from the computer if it is connected to the computer, and then restart the computer.
