@GabrielaGarcia tried to boot from the USB-CD-ROM long before the original theme was published, but it failed. I also tried the above, but unfortunately I was unable to select a boot tracker. After asking the question, I copied the CD to a USB stick and it worked. So I still don’t know how to choose the boot priority, but I finally managed to install an alternate OS, so for now I don’t need to fix the original problem and consider the dilemma closed anymore. Thanks for your efforts.

Press F2 at startup to enter BIOS setup.Go to Advanced Settings> Start Menu.Select Boot Configuration and uncheck Boot network devices last.In the menu “Con Boot Configuration go to Network Boot and enable UEFI PCE and iSCSI.Select Ethernet1 boot and / or Ethernet2 boot.
To be able to boot your networked workstation (PXE), you must enable networked PXE-ROM on the BIOS card (your motherboard).
Network Boot (PXE) can be used:
– To load the Live CD from the desired server and run it directly in the memory of the client system. More information can be found in our tutorial: Windows Server – PXE Custom – Menu (based on syslinux) “.
– Install Windows on the network via “RIS-server” or its winner “WDS”. Make
– “Terminal Server”, possibly “Thin Client”.

1. UEFI BIOS
Then “Advanced” Advanced (or English) and search for “PXE”, “PXE ROM”, “Network ROM” or a very similar term in a category known as “Devices”, “Peripheral” …

2. Asus UEFI (yellow / Gray)
If anyone has an Asus motherboard (like Z97-PRO Wi-Fi ac) with a bright yellow-gray BIOS, you can enable Network Boot (PXE) here.
First press “Del” or “Del” when booting up the computer and enter intoBIOS of Asus motherboard.
Then just “Advanced Mode (F7)” in the lower right corner.
For the normal transition to the “Extras” tab, press: On-board device configuration.
At the end of this list, you will find a collection called “Intel LAN PXE Option ROM”.
Finally, in order for your computer to boot first when it comes to networking (up to internal hard drives, hard drive …), you must allow them to change the BIOS boot order from scratch so that the “PXE” decision is postponed for now.
