The K-Lite Codec Pack is a large free set of components needed to play audio and video in DirectShow players such as Windows Media Player, Media Center, and Media Player Classic.

The K-Lite source files still have the same name, size and hashes as above. Do not install downloaded info files with different values.
Windows 10 can handle most digital music and video files. However, if you have an older version of Windows or want to play an unknown file format, owners may need to install the correct codec. Playing HDR Videos
To play these videos, you need to use the supplied MPC-HC guitar player and select MPC Video Renderer. As a video Madvr can be used as a rendering engine. Otherwise, companies convert the colors of the video to real SDR so you can watch it on a regular monitor / TV.

3D Video
The Codec Pack contains a dedicated plug-in for the H-Decode Player (64-bit) and select Madvr as the video renderer. To output the 3D model video to your monitor / TV, you must have Windows 8.x / 10 Windows (or Windows 7 with your own modern NVIDIA GPU).
Note. SBS playback with (side-by-side) and 3D top / bottom video does not meet the above requirements. These are the videos that are actuallyEncoded as 2D video. Your TV should have a great ability to turn this into 3D.
For NVIDIA, you will need to use version 418.xx or earlier with the taxi driver. 3D support has been removed in future releases.
Blu-ray
MPC-HC can play whirlwinds on Blu-ray. There are only two of them: 1) Limitations:
Blu-ray menus are not supported. It will automatically play the longest track on the disc. Other titles can still be called up by navigating the player menu. 2)
The disc can indeed be decrypted using an external program. For example HD Anydvd or Passkey Lite.
