    public Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.DTSExecResult Run();
    replace this.Execute ` unit -> Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.DTSExecResult
    Public Execute() as DTSExecResult

    Return

    DTSExecResult

    microsoft.sqlserver.dts.runtime execute

    An DTSExecResult enumeration containing information about the success and even failure of the package.

    Examples

    Fanbase sample code creates a package, sets the OfflineMode and interactivemode properties before adding the script task. It then package, iterates using the generic method Execute.

     with System;with System.Collections.Generic;with System.Text;with Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime;with Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.ScriptTask;Package_API namespace category program simple ole void Main(string[] args) package p = new package(); p.InteractiveMode = true; P.OfflineMode True; = // Add unit script task to. Import systemthemesImports System.Collections.GenericImports System.TextImports Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.RuntimeImport Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.ScriptTaskPackage_API namespace class program Shared Sub Main (ByVal args() As String) Package Dim p As is New package() p.InteractiveMode is true p.OfflineMode = True Add a script task to the package for yourself. Dim TaskH as = taskhost CType(p.Executables.Add(Type.GetType(Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.ScriptTask.ScriptTask).TaskHost) Assemblyqualifiedname), run the package. P.Run() Check out the race results. TaskH if.ExecutionResult = DTSExecResult.Failure or taskH.ExecutionStatus = DTSExecStatus.Then abend Console.WriteLine("Task not processed or canceled") different Console.WriteLine("Task completed successfully") end if end under finishing classleave the namespace

    Notes

    The Execute method is inherited by task hosts and some other objects from the abstract Executable class via the DtsContainer class, and some other objects allow inheritance of objects that must be executed by the runtime. The Run method of individual obstacles inherited is generally not used, and it is recommended to call the method. Run if your organization needs to execute any specific tasks or containers in deal.deal. However, the Execute method is readily available on each object if you define specific circumstances when you may need it.

    The main purpose of the main Execute method is to override it when inheriting and when creating a custom task. For more information about media overriding to run a specific method, see Create a custom task.
