If you have a postgres repository table syntax error, this user guide can help. The syntax is: if the table you want to drop does not exist, PostgreSQL should throw an error. Therefore, this would prevent the error message when using the IF EXISTS keyword, which ignores our own DROP TABLE statement in such legal matters. d DELETE TABLE employee_data; DELETE TABLE IF employee_data EXISTS; DELETE TABLE IF EXISTS new_player_data; D
Pretty sure it’s just me being a technophobe, but I can’t figure out why my syntax might be mislabeled.

We recommend that you don’t name your tables with fancy keywords. As a workaround here because you can double your table name if you’re referencing the concept: I also chose to use specific quotes for string literals.
