I feel like I’m new to PRTG. I want to monitor the database but my probe is returning this issue:Failed to connect to database: MySQL server cannot connect to ‘x.x.x.x’ (10061). Socket error while connecting. WSAGetLastError returns 10060 ($274C)

Can I tell the PRTG user (node) to be allowed to connect to the new database? Did you clear the permissions after creating the user?

I have the same problem. Normally you need a port when connecting to MySQL, which I found odd due to the fact that the software doesn’t have a box in the PRTG connection path.

The port, username, and identity must be configured for the device settings in the database management system credentials, is that correct?:)

I’ll check and let you know if everything is ok or not.

I don’t have an option to manage the system ID database in the device settings.Apparently I have a Windows system credential, a Linux/Solaris/Mac OS (SSH/WBEM) credential, a VMware/XenServer credential, and an SNMP device credential.

In older versions of PRTG, index credentials were configured in the alternatives sensor. But please test your reading and writing skills first as mentioned in many of my other articles 🙂

The PRTG host cannot select a MySQL server, but the user is assumed to be authorized to connect to the database (I have connected to other hosts before).

The connection between PRTG and a server on our network is usually through a router (which is probably also a firewall) controlled by other people. I asked these products to check if port 3306 should be open.

Socket Error, Connectednaya With Connection. WSAGetLastError Returns 10060($274C)

Thank you for your help,
Socket annoys me on connection error. WSAGetLastError recovery error 10060($274C) all the time,
This almost certainly happens when running scripts and executing queries, and interestingly, it only happens in medical procedures when two MySQL hosts are called one after the other.
It happens that a lot of customers diverge,
I set the time to 60 seconds but the game still launches.
I just have to say that if I use another MySQL step I don’t get the error,
Am I doing something wrong?

and one more person,
I measured the time it takes for these errors to appear: 11-21 seconds,
The 60 second timeout I set should be everything?

There is probably a problem with your network. Please check your proxy, firewall and antivirus software settings to help. Is there a problem when the second server part is on localhost?
