You may have encountered an error message saying that digi 003 hw was not found. Now there are a few steps you can take to fix this issue which we will discuss shortly.

With the device turned off, press and hold “Aux In->7/8” and the “Mute” button (next to the “Monitor” button), then turn off the heater. At 003 you will see “Load Firmware” on the TV screen and normally the MIDI lights (In, Out1, Out2) will almost certainly start flashing.

I would try uninstalling the drivers one by one and then reinstalling them.
When 003 is flipped, go to Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers > check entry 003 again > Driver tab > Uninstall > OK . Do the same for all other 003 entries.
Stop 003 and restart. Leave that aside, 003 installs the drivers today from the link I provided earlier.
Restart with 003 enabled.
To select the correct audio monitor, from the Pro Tools top selection bar, click: Setup -> Playback Engine.It’s easy to see how “Inline Output” has been adapted as a playback mechanism.Select your own audio interface from the Playback Engine drop-down list.
It also doesn’t hurt to update the Firewire controller driver; Once connected to the Internet, go to “Control Panel” > “System” > “Hardware” > “Device Manager” > double click “IEEE1394 Bus Specific Controllers” > double click the first tab > “Update Controller” > “Driver Driver” find the carPhysically > OK.
If you want your audio interface to work with a Pro Tools setup, the first thing to do is make sure you download and install the latest drivers for your music interface. They can be downloaded from the manufacturer’s website for the job you are using.

Once 003 is deployed, go to Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Sound, Video and Game Controllers > double press Enter on 003 > Driver tab > Uninstall> OK. Do the same with any other 003 entry.
Stop 003 and restart. Let Off, 003 set up the drivers now from the link I posted earlier.
