There are four different versions of the K-Lite Codec Pack. This is not a very small set, which covers only the most important decoders, to a larger and more extensive set. Global differences between the various can be found below .. P Detailed differences can be found on the feature and content comparison pages.
These packaged codecs work with Windows Vista / 7/8 / 8.1 / 10. Older ones also work with XP.
Packages contain almost all 32-bit and 64-bit codecs, so these companies work great with both x86 and x64 variants of Windows!

This type of codec will be used by YouTube to edit / encode applications that work with AVI files. For example, VirtualDub.
These codecs are not needed and are not used for video playback. Important
Note. The K-Lite Codec Pack does not extend your import capabilities from professional video creators such as Vegas Movie Studio Adobe Premiere. These applications often only support importing a small number of installed file formats and do not offer the type of codecs included in the codec(DirectShow / VFW). Modern publishers often only benefit from their own internal codecs or only support external codecs such as the Media Foundation.

Important Note: The above optional air filters are not installed by default. We also strongly recommend that you do not use these legacy filters. This is just a small organization of people who have an explanation for their use. We strongly recommend that you use the default decoders because of the package. It is better.
